EVENT DETAILS
Over-the-Line (OTL) is a unique beach softball game that originated in San Diego. In this game, two teams of three players compete to hit the ball over a line about 55 feet in front of the batter. Unlike traditional softball, OTL is played without running any bases. Like softball, though, the team that scores the most runs wins. The Old Mission Beach Athletic Club (OMBAC) hosts this annual OTL tournament, which takes place at Mariners Point in San Diego. The one-day tournament is action-packed, and we announce the champions on Saturday.
